Head of Middle School
All Saints Anglican School seeks a Head of Middle School to commence in January 2027. This role provides visionary leadership for students in Years–5–9, fostering a culture of kindness, care, respect, integrity, inclusion, and excellence. The Head will strategically lead teaching, learning, wellbeing, and pastoral care across the Middle School, ensuring students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally within a child‑safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a positive Middle School culture that reflects the values of kindness, care, respect, integrity, inclusion, and excellence.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight of the Middle School curriculum, programmes, and student experience.
- Mentor, coach and support teaching staff to ensure high quality teaching and learning practices.
- Collaborate with school leaders to ensure a cohesive educational journey across the school.
- Build strong and positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.
- Support student wellbeing, pastoral care and restorative practices that strengthen relationships and engagement.
- Lead school improvement initiatives and contribute to strategic planning and future growth of the school.
- Promote innovative and contemporary teaching approaches that cater for diverse learning needs.
- Contribute to the co‑curricular life of the school.

Qualifications and Experience
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and learning across Years–5–9.
- Proven success in a senior leadership role.
- Strong understanding of curriculum leadership, student wellbeing and pastoral care.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and team development skills.
- Experience building positive school culture and community engagement.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of contemporary educational theory and practice.

Child Safety Commitment

Remuneration
Remuneration will be determined by the Principal according to qualifications and experience.
