Join the Centre for Epidemiology and Evidence at the NSW Ministry of Health for an exciting Temporary Full Time (up to 3-year) opportunity and be part of the team enriching health in millions of ways every day.

Crown Clerk 9/10 role, starting salary from $133,348 - $146,945 plus superannuation and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week. Traineeships commence in February 2027.

Advance your career in public health medicine by joining the highly regarded NSW Public Health Training Program. This unique, 3-year, workplace-based program provides hands‑on experience and the opportunity to make a real impact in population and public health. You'll gain specialist skills in public health policy and practice and learn from experts in the field.

- General medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Eligibility to apply for the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine Advanced Training Program
- Minimum of 3 years of full-time postgraduate health‑related employment




- Completed masters degree in public health or a public health field
- Demonstrated understanding of the Australian health care system
- A growth mindset, and commitment to continuous learning and personal development

In addition, due to the competitive nature of these traineeships, work experience in a public health or population health role is highly desirable.
