Shift Schedule & Job Security

We have 2 Permanent Part-Time positions offering stability. The set roster includes the following regular night shifts:

- Mondays: 23:24 – 07:30 (2 Positions Available - Sandpiper Lodge and McCracken Views)
- Tuesdays: 23:24 – 07:30 (2 Positions Available - Sandpiper Lodge and McCracken Views)
- Wednesdays: 23:24 – 07:30 (1 Position Available - Sandpiper Lodge)

About the Role

As a Night Shift Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality clinical care, lead our night care and support teams, and ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents during the night.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide holistic leadership and guidance to the night care team each shift




- Deliver safe, high-quality, and person-centred clinical services tailored to residents' needs
- Assess and review residents' health status, monitor wellbeing, and respond to clinical changes overnight
- Supervise staff in daily living and clinical care routines, ensuring a secure and peaceful environment
- Maintain adherence to workplace health and safety policies and apply AN-ACC principles where required

About You

You are a clinically sound, empathetic leader who thrives in a night shift environment. To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Qualifications

- A Bachelor of Nursing with current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Certifications: Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009)
- Experience: Previous RN experience in an Aged Care environment with knowledge of Aged Care Standards related to accreditation
- Clinical Expertise: Contemporary clinical knowledge (including aged care medications) and understanding of dementia care and challenging behaviours
- Skills: Strong problem-solving, time management, and the ability to lead night staff
- Communication: Strong English literacy for progress notes and compassionate communication
