This isnota traditional Strength & Conditioning role.We're looking for a coach who is passionate about developing movement quality and athletic performance on the field.
You'll coach sprint mechanics, acceleration, deceleration, agility and change-of-direction skills while working with industry-leading performance technology to assess and monitor athlete development.You'll receive ongoing mentoring in the Sydney Sports Academy coaching methodology and become proficient in our athlete assessment and testing systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality speed, agility and athletic development sessions.Coach sprint mechanics, acceleration, deceleration and change-of-direction technique.Coach athletes in both individual and small group environments.Conduct athlete assessments using VALD performance testing equipment.Set up and operate electronic timing gates for straight-line speed and change-of-direction testing.Analyse testing data and provide athletes with transparent performance feedback.Assist with biomechanical movement assessments and video analysis.Maintain a safe, energetic and qualified coaching workplace.Deliver every session in line with the Sydney Sports Academy coaching methodology.
