About The Role
Band 5 - Salary starting from $140K , final salary to be negotiated with the successful candidate.
Do you have extensive Health and Safety experience in a high‑risk construction or operational environment? Do you want to be involved in TasNetworks’ largest project to date – the North West Transmission Development project?
We are looking for a Health & Safety Specialist in the TasNetworks Health & Safety team.
This role will work closely with our major contractors and operational teams to provide support, specialist advice and guidance across all Health and Safety matters. The role will set the standard for incident investigation, safety communication and complex project management, bringing innovation and contemporary thinking to the Health and Safety function.
You will support and collaborate with a lead Health & Safety Specialist working on the project.
About You
Ideally you will be based in the North West of Tasmania.
To succeed, you’ll bring tertiary H&S; qualifications, extensive experience in high‑risk industries, proven delivery of complex projects, strong contractor management capability, deep understanding of safety systems, legislation and reporting.
You will be skilled in inspecting operations, incident investigation and providing written feedback, with excellent communication,
collaboration and a passion for process and continuous improvement.
