Salary: $74,000 to $80,000 + 12% Superannuation

Bombay Pavilion is an iconic fine dining restaurant located in Bungendore serving Indian cuisine and are looking for a full-time Restaurant Manager to work 38 hours per week.

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to join our team in Bungendore. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1-year full-time work experience as a Restaurant Manager.

The ideal candidate must think innovatively and oversee daily operations, balancing guest satisfaction, staff management, budgeting, and safety.

Duties & Responsibilities as Restaurant Manager:
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth service, effective workflow, and a positive customer experience.
• Work with chefs to plan and update menus based on seasonal ingredients, customer demand, pricing, and cost control.
• Organise and coordinate special functions, including customer enquiries, bookings, staffing, and service arrangements.
• Arrange the purchase and pricing of food, beverages,



and other supplies while maintaining quality standards and budget requirements.
• Keep accurate records of stock levels, sales, wastage, purchases, and financial transactions using POS and inventory systems.
• Ensure the dining area, kitchen, and service facilities are clean, safe, functional, and compliant with health and hygiene regulations.
• Communicate with customers to check their satisfaction, handle complaints, and resolve service issues in a professional manner.
• Select, train, roster, supervise, and support restaurant staff to maintain high service standards and efficient team performance.
• Assist with reservations, welcoming guests, seating customers, and taking orders during busy service periods when required.

Qualifications:
• Diploma in Hospitality Management or a Higher qualification in relevant field desired.

Skills and other requirements for the position:
• Have a minimum of 1-year full-time work experience in the relevant role.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to motivate, mentor, and lead a diverse hospitality team.
• Have knowledge of Food Handling and Food Safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong conflict-resolution and decision-making abilities.
