You Make Me Smile Orthodontics Pty Ltd seeks a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our Wodonga team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Orthodontists and ensuring our patients receive the highest quality of care. This part time position offers a rewarding opportunity to be part of a dynamic and patient-focused Orthodontic practice.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting the Orthodontist /OHT during various dental procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and providing other support as needed
- Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
- Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies
- Greeting patients, checking them in, and guiding them through the appointment process
- Providing excellent customer service and addressing patient inquiries and concerns
- Updating patient records and maintaining accurate documentation
- Performing basic administrative tasks as required
What we're looking for
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role in a dental practice
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using dental equipment and software
- A commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- A passion for providing exceptional patient care and a desire to contribute to the overall success of the Orthodontic practice
- Motivated to achieve results with our team to improve the practice.
