Join our team as a high-performing Coordinator and take the lead at an established and flourishing After School Care service located on the grounds of St Mary St Joseph Catholic Primary School, Maroubra . This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a vibrant and supportive community.

This is a Permanent, Full-Time position. Before & after school care plus Vacaction care. Split shifts Monday - Friday with 1 block shift per week.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated professional with a genuine passion for childcare. As Coordinator , you will inspire your team with compassion, friendliness, and the ability to engage positively and productively with children.

Your Key Responsibilities

As the Coordinator, you will play a vital leadership role in shaping a positive,



enriching environment for children, educators, and families. Your responsibilities will include:

- Create a protected, inclusive space – Champion a culture where every child and staff member feels welcome, supported, and respected

Stay organised and vigilant – Manage accurate attendance records and bookings to ensure consistent supervision and safety

Empower your team – Supervise and mentor educators , helping them grow in confidence and capability in their daily practice

Inspire young minds – Design and deliver engaging, educational programs , underpinned by thoughtful observations and reflection

Live the values – Support and promote the mission and ethos of the Catholic Church , embedding them in your day-to-day leadership

Build strong community ties – Nurture positive relationships with families, the school, and key community stakeholders

About You:

To excel in this role, you will bring:

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care .

Proven experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) .

Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills

Is reliable, organised, and enthusiastic

Certification in Child Protection Training .

Current First Aid Certificates , including CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma management.

A valid NSW Working With Children Check .

Completed the mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO. Register GECCKO
