What you’ll be doing: The General Hand provides administrative and operational support across the District, assisting staff, volunteers and brigades with a range of day-to-day activities. The role involves customer service, administration and coordination tasks that help keep District operations running smoothly. We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities while working as part of a team. This is a practical support role that contributes to brigade readiness and the delivery of services to our volunteers and communities. You'll be comfortable undertaking a range of administrative and operational support tasks, managing competing priorities and working collaboratively with staff and volunteers. You will have good communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records. A positive attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to supporting the work of the NSW RFS will be key to your success in this role. Above all, you'll contribute positively to the culture around you, because the way we work together is just as important as the quality of work we deliver.
