Kambalda West District High School is a vibrant and inclusive learning community that caters to students from Kindergarten to Year 12. With a dedicated and enthusiastic team of educators, we offer a friendly and supportive environment that encourages academic, social, and emotional growth. Our strong partnership with families and the broader community helps ensure the best outcomes for every student. Guided by our core values of REACH – Respect, Excellence, Aspiration, Connection, and Harmony – we embed these principles into every aspect of school life.

Located approximately 600 kilometres east of Perth and 58 kilometers south of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Kambalda is a historic mining town situated on the traditional lands of the Wongatha and Ngadju peoples. As a District High School, we offer a unique and seamless learning journey across all phases of schooling. Students benefit from a close-knit, family-oriented setting where transitions between year levels are supported by a consistent whole-school approach.

The school’s culture is driven by collaboration, where both students and staff contribute to a warm, welcoming, and productive environment. This collective pride is also reflected in the ongoing care of our school grounds and facilities, helping to create an inspiring space for learning and growth.
