We're bringing something special to Dwellingup and are looking for an experienced Bakery Manager / Head Baker to join us from the very beginning.

This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in launching a brand-recent bakery. From helping set up the bakery and establishing systems, to building and leading the team, you'll be instrumental in creating a bakery that becomes a favourite with both locals and visitors.

Everything will be baked fresh on site each day, with a focus on quality ingredients, consistency and exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role

As our Bakery Manager / Head Baker, you'll oversee the day-to-day bakery operations while remaining hands-on in the production of our products. You'll be responsible for ensuring the bakery runs efficiently, maintaining high standards and leading a positive, high-performing team.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with the setup and launch of our new bakery.
- Developing efficient bakery systems, workflows and production schedules.
- Baking a range of fresh breads, pastries and baked goods from scratch.
- Managing dough preparation, proving, baking and finishing.
- Leading, mentoring and managing the bakery team.
- Rostering staff and supporting recruitment and training.
- Maintaining quality, consistency and presentation across all products.
- Ordering ingredients and managing stock levels.
- Ensuring food safety,



hygiene and workplace health and safety standards are maintained.
- Working collaboratively with the wider business to help grow the bakery.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

- Has extensive baking experience, ideally in a leadership or management role.
- Is passionate about producing exceptional artisan bakery products.
- Enjoys building teams and developing people.
- Is organised, reliable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Has excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Is excited by the opportunity to help establish a new business from the ground up.
- Holds relevant baking qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) relevant food safety certification.
