To be successful in this role you will need to have:

- Be available to work in both before and after school hours across our OSHCprograms at Florey Primary and Charnwood Dunlop Schools
- Desirable,not essential - Certificate III qualification or higher in Early Education and Care/or Primary teaching
- Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to positively interact with educators, children, families and the school community
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF), the Early Years Learning Framework and /or My Time, Our Place

Responsibilities

In this rewarding role you will undertake the following responsibilities:





- Uphold professional and ethical standards, demonstrating accountability, initiative, and effective time management
- Contribute to a positive and cooperative team environment through respectful communication, feedback, and support of diversity and inclusion
- Work in alignment with organisational goals, policies, and National Quality Standards to support high-quality service delivery
- Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of children through effective supervision, hygiene practices, and risk management procedures
- Create and maintain safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments with appropriate use of resources and sustainable practices both indoors and outdoors
- Build strong relationships with children, families, colleagues and the school community while engaging in continuous professional development and service improvement

- Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or aWorking with Children Check (NSW) and have these with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
- Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may affect their eligibility to work or perform the inherent requirements of their position
