An iconic large-scale, complex Melbourne based organisation is appointing a Talent Projects & Enablement Manager. The role sits under the Head of Talent and carries genuine enterprise reach, workforce planning, succession, performance process, early careers, and employment brand all in one seat.The organisation runs at real scale, matrixed, safety regulated, and operationally critical. Talent decisions here affect leadership continuity and workforce sustainability across the whole business, not one function.
The Role
- Leads succession frameworks for senior leadership and critical roles
- Owns and leads the performance planning cycle
- Builds an early careers program from the ground up, including graduate, internship, and apprenticeship pathways
- Owns employment brand initiatives alongside Talent Acquisition, Marketing, and Communications
- Governs internal mobility, redeployment, and outplacement processes
- Delivers talent reporting and analytics to senior leadership
- Will develop and lead enterprise workforce planning
- Leads one direct report, with a specialist role planned into the team
Your Experience
- Substantial experience delivering an integrated talent service across a large, complex organisation
- Demonstrated success building or scaling workforce planning and succession frameworks
- Experience standing up or significantly growing an early careers program
- Comfortable operating in a matrix structure without direct authority over every stakeholder
- Employment branding experience is well regarded, not essential
