About the Role
Join our dedicated CALHN Cancer Services Psychology team to providespecialist, evidence-based and compassionate care for people affected bycancer. In addition to providing psychological care to people with a range ofcancer diagnoses, this role will include conducting assessments of preparednessfor pelvic exenteration surgery as well as psychological interventionpost-surgery (while an inpatient and through outpatient clinics). Workingwithin supportive and collaborative cancer psychology and multidisciplinaryteams, you'll contribute to people's adjustment to their cancer and treatmentto help maximise their health outcomes.
At the AHP3 level (Senior Clinical/Health Psychologist), you'll be anexperienced clinician, responsible for leading pelvic exenteration psychologyservices within the cancer team. You'll provide clinical leadership, manage acomplex case load, provide supervision to provisional psychologists onplacement and lead quality improvement activities.
Qualifications
AHP-3 Must hold general registration with the PsyBA and be endorsed in(Clinical and/or Health Psychology) area of practice. Must holdapproved supervisor status with the PsyBA at all levels of supervision.
AHP-2 Must hold general registration with the PsyBA.
