Lead Organisational Performance and Assurance
Western Victoria Primary Health Network (WVPHN) is seeking an experienced leader to join our Executive Leadership team as Director Organisational Performance & Assurance. Reporting to the Executive Director People, Culture & Business Operations, this role strengthens organisational performance through integrated planning, performance, quality, assurance and continuous improvement systems. Working across the organisation, you will help establish frameworks, processes and capabilities that support effective decision‑making, accountability and delivery of strategic priorities.
The Opportunity
- Lead the development and implementation of organisational performance, planning and assurance frameworks.
- Support leaders to establish clear alignment between strategy, operational delivery and performance outcomes.
- Develop meaningful performance measures, reporting and insights that support decision‑making and continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of accountability, organisational learning and evidence‑informed practice.
- Lead quality, clinical governance, accreditation and assurance activities that support safe and effective outcomes.
- Oversee enterprise risk, business continuity and privacy functions as part of an integrated organisational assurance approach.
- Partner with executive and operational leaders to strengthen organisational capability and performance.
About you
You are a strategic and practical leader who enjoys working across an organisation to influence outcomes, build capability and improve systems and processes.
You will bring:
- Significant experience in a senior leadership role focused on organisational performance, quality, assurance, planning, business improvement or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated success designing and embedding organisational frameworks, systems or processes that improve performance and accountability.
- Strong capability to influence, coach and work collaboratively with leaders and teams to achieve organisational outcomes.
- Experience translating strategic priorities into practical initiatives, plans and measurable outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, with the ability to use data and insights to drive improvement.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, health, public administration, governance, risk management or a related field.
Employment requirements
- Be prepared to undergo a National Police Check, prior to appointment.
- Working rights in Australia (visa, permanent resident, citizen).
