Octagon Lifts Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Elevator Installer to join our team in Perth, WA. This is a full-time position based in Perth WA 6000. As an Elevator Installer, you will play a crucial role in the installation and repair of lift systems across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. This position is fundamental to our operations, ensuring that our clients receive safe, reliable, and compliant lift solutions. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will directly contribute to the safety and satisfaction of our customers and the reputation of Octagon Lifts Pty Ltd.

What you’ll be doing

- Installing lift systems in new buildings and retrofitting existing installations according to architectural plans and specifications.
- Assembling, positioning, and securing lift components including counterweights, guide rails, motors, and control systems.
- Collaborating with other technicians, electricians, and construction team members on-site to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Maintaining detailed records of all work completed, including documentation for regulatory compliance and customer handover.
- Adhering to strict health and safety protocols and working at heights in compliance with all relevant legislation.
- Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards for lift installation and safety.

What we’re looking for

- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as an Elevator Installer or similar lift technician role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of lift systems, including mechanical and electrical components.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Understanding of Standards relating to lift safety and compliance.
- Experience with hand and power tools, precision measurement equipment, and lifting equipment.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.




- A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to various job sites.
- A current Working at Height certification or the ability to obtain one.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks.
