Role
As the HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, driving both operational HR excellence and strategic people initiatives. This is a hands‑on, stand‑alone role with strong regional support, ideal for someone who enjoys building HR foundations in a scaling environment.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to align people strategy with business growth objectives.
- Provide expert advice on employee relations, workplace matters, and HR policies.
- Ensure compliance with Australian employment law and mitigate risk.
- Lead end‑to‑end recruitment and workforce planning activities.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle (onboarding, performance, remuneration,
and offboarding).
- Coordinate payroll processes with external providers.
- Drive employee engagement, culture, and wellbeing initiatives locally.
- Establish and improve HR processes, systems, and governance frameworks.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be a proactive and commercially minded HR professional with a robust grounding in Australian HR practices.
- You will bring:
- 5 years of experience in a generalist or HR Business Partner role.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and employee relations.
- Exposure to multinational or matrix organisations.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organisational skills.
- A hands‑on, adaptable mindset with the ability to operate both strategically and operationally.
