We're partnering with a leading organisation to appoint an experienced PKI Architect to lead the design, governance and evolution of enterprise Public Key Infrastructure within a large-scale, security-first setting.

This is a senior, hands‑on architecture role where you'll define PKI strategy, strengthen cryptographic controls and ensure secure, scalable trust services across the enterprise.

The role:

- Design and govern enterprise PKI architecture, CA hierarchies and trust models
- Lead certificate lifecycle management, CA/RA operations and cryptographic standards
- Secure PKI infrastructure including HSMs, OCSP, CRLs and high availability environments
- Integrate PKI across IAM, cloud, TLS/SSL, MDM, IoT and enterprise platforms
- Drive compliance with NIST, ISO 27001 and security governance frameworks
- Develop PKI policies,



standards and architecture documentation
- Provide expert support during cryptographic and certificate-related security incidents

What we're looking for:

- Strong knowledge of X.509, PKCS, OCSP, CRLs and key management
- Hands‑on experience with enterprise PKI platforms, HSMs and certificate lifecycle management
- Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001 and security compliance frameworks
- PowerShell, Python or Shell scripting skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Relevant degree with security certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CCSP highly regarded
