Early Childhood Senior Educator – Full‑time Permanent. Location: Regional Victoria, VIC. Salary range: $41.74 to $43.00 per hour plus superannuation, dependent on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with peers to observe, inform, and continuously improve educational programs.
- Ensure a safe environment for children, families, and team members.
- Lead a classroom effectively, engaging educators, families, and children.
- Utilise the Goodstart Practice Guide to deliver high‑quality education and practice in collaboration with the Education Leader.
- Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies, Procedures, and Requirements.
- Positively contribute to delivering the Centre and business plans.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
- Current Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
- Passion and enthusiasm to lead a classroom effectively.
- Ability to build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families.
- Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement.
- Seek and share best practice examples to improve the education program.
- Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
