The Princeton Review Australia is recruiting talented educators and high-achieving graduates to become certified SAT Test Preparation Teachers.

For more than 40 years, students and families around the world have trusted The Princeton Review for test preparation, academic tutoring and university admissions support. Its internationally recognised SAT programs combine expert instruction, comprehensive exam content, proprietary test-taking strategies, full-length practice tests, targeted drills and detailed performance analysis.

The Princeton Review’s programs are designed to help students understand the Digital SAT, strengthen their academic foundations, approach questions strategically and prepare for the examination with greater confidence.

As part of our Australian teaching team, you will be trained to deliver this proven methodology and help students pursue admission to leading US universities.

About the role

As an SAT Test Preparation Teacher, you will:

· Deliver engaging SAT preparation classes face-to-face and/or online.

· Teach The Princeton Review’s proven strategies and methodologies.

· Help students strengthen their academic skills, test confidence and performance.

· Guide students in using practice tests, drills and performance feedback effectively.

· Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

· Participate in training, professional development and team meetings.

· Maintain high standards of professionalism, student welfare and educational quality.

Training and certification

Successful candidates will undertake specialist training delivered by a Princeton Review master trainer.

Before joining the training program,



shortlisted candidates must demonstrate the required SAT subject knowledge by either:

· Passing The Princeton Review SAT Qualifying Exam with at least 80%; or

· Providing an eligible full-length SAT score report showing a minimum score of 650 in each section, with 700 or above preferred.

Candidates who successfully complete the training and certification process will be eligible to deliver The Princeton Review’s SAT programs in Australia at a teaching rate of A$70–A$100 per hour. The applicable rate will depend on experience, subject capability, class format and assigned responsibilities.

The next master-trainer program is planned to commence in early September 2026 and continue through late October. Training is expected to include online self-paced work and live sessions, primarily held on Australian weekend mornings.

Applicants should be prepared to complete their first Qualifying Exam attempt by 26 August 2026.

Further career-development opportunities

Depending on qualifications, performance and business needs, successful candidates may also be considered for separate training pathways as:

· US College Admissions Counsellors

· AP Test Preparation Teachers in relevant subject areas

These additional pathways involve separate assessment, training and certification requirements.

About you

We are seeking candidates who have:

· Strong English, mathematics or related subject knowledge.

· Teaching, tutoring, coaching or mentoring experience.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills.

· Confidence working with secondary-school students.





· A genuine interest in US university pathways and international education.

· The ability to participate fully in the required training schedule.

· Australian working rights.

· A current Working with Children Check, or the ability to obtain one before teaching.

Experienced teachers, tutors, university lecturers, postgraduate students and high-achieving graduates are encouraged to apply. Previous SAT or ACT teaching experience is highly regarded but not essential.
