Australia Backpacker Central Pty Ltd (ABC Labour) has 5 Horticulture positions in the Mildura region in northwest Victoria commencing from October 2026 and continuing for up to 4 years. These roles will include multiple different tasks including picking and packing grapes, pruning vines, rolling on, covering, pulling out of grape vines and general vineyard farm work, citrus picking, pruning of orchard and general orchard farm work and stone fruit picking and pruning of trees and general stone fruit farm work. Candidates should be motivated and able to learn quickly.
The work is physical, repetitive and performed outdoors; successful candidates will be required for early starts and to work in a variety of weather conditions. Candidates must be able to work within a team and autonomously,
take instruction and work quickly with accuracy; on the job training will be provided to the successful candidates. Candidates must have a genuine desire to relocate to the area.
Wages will be paid in accordance with the Horticulture Award (MA000028) at an hourly rate. Your usual hours of work will be 7am-4pm, 5-6 days per week, average minimum hours will be reflected under the Horticulture Award 2020 - Level 1 Full Time.
