Australia Backpacker Central Pty Ltd (ABC Labour) has 15 Horticulture positions in the Woorinen region in northwest Victoria commencing from September 2026 and continuing for up to 4 years. These roles will include multiple different tasks including picking and packing citrus, stone fruit and seasonal fruits, pruning, thinning fruit, weeding, irrigation assistance and general farm maintenance. Candidates should be motivated and able to learn quickly.
The work is physical, repetitive and performed outdoors; successful candidates will be required for early starts and to work in a variety of weather conditions. Candidates must be able to work within a team and autonomously,
take instruction and work quickly with accuracy; on the job training will be provided to the successful candidates. Candidates must have a genuine desire to relocate to the area.
Wages will be paid in accordance with the Horticulture Award (MA000028) at an hourly rate. Your usual hours of work will be 6:00am-2:30pm, 5-6 days per week, average minimum hours will be reflected under the Horticulture Award 2020 - Level 1 Full Time.
