Reporting to the appointed Supervisor, you will be responsible but not limited to the following :

General

- Comply with and actively support relevant Workplace Health and Safety and Environmental instructions and legislation
- Ensure Personal Protective Equipment is always worn and maintained correctly
- Safely operate and maintain field equipment
- Positively contribute to the task and work as part of a team
- Undertake training and follow work instructions
- Report machine and equipment faults to the Supervisor

Field Duties

- Crop preparation and maintenance
- Crop harvesting
- Operate and maintain field equipment
- Driving - Tractors, ATV’s, Forklifts, Utes and other farm machinery
- Chemical application
- Planting

Packing Shed Duties

- Prepare product for packing
- Packing product
- Preparing packed product for dispatch
- Operate and maintain packing shed equipment
- Cleaning duties
- PPS and quality assurance inspections

Ripening Facility Duties

- Peeling ripe fruit
- Packing and sealing the packed product
- Preparing packed product for dispatch
- QA checking of the packed produce

Ad Hoc

- Incidental/peripheral tasks within the skill, competence and training of the employee
