About the role

As Trade Assistant, you will work as part of our team at Brisbane Airport to help manage the operations and maintenance of the baggage system. You will have a proactive approach to work and enjoy a fast paced working environment. On the job training will be provided so that you are equipped to do your job to the best of your ability.

- Daily Maintenance: You'll play a crucial role in maintaining our equipment through preventive, reactive, and corrective maintenance, keeping everything running smoothly.
- Tools and Materials Caretaker: Maintain our tools and materials, ensuring they are in excellent working condition and ready for use whenever necessary.
- Knowledge Sharing Champion : Guide our staff and stakeholders on our system,



sharing insights and expertise to enhance the team’s collective understanding.
- Responding with Precision : Handle emergency tasks swiftly and effectively, showcasing your ability to stay composed and take decisive action when needed.

Please note: This role operates on a 24/7 roster, therefore shift work is a requirement in this role. 12 hour shifts (6am-6pm and 6pm-6am, 4 days on 4 days off pattern) so you must be comfortable and able to work on a shift roster.
