About the Qualification

The Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (AUR) is a nationally recognised qualification that prepares apprentices to service, repair and maintain machinery used across construction, mining, agriculture and civil infrastructure.

This qualification develops skills in:

- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
- Servicing engines, transmissions, steering, suspension and braking systems.
- Maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Fault diagnosis using testing equipment and technical documentation.
- Applying workplace health and safety practices.
- Working effectively within technical teams.
