Senior Business Analyst – Australian Red Cross (Melbourne, VIC, AU) – full‑time, on‑site position with hybrid work (two days in office, three days from home). The role is open until June2027.

About the Role

The Senior Business Analyst will assess the overall information technology needs of assigned projects and programs. The role focuses on delivering value‑driven solutions, collaborating closely with stakeholders—project managers, developers, and end‑users—to ensure business needs are accurately captured and addressed. This position facilitates communication between technical and non‑technical teams, ensuring a clear understanding of business requirements and technical capabilities to improve business efficiency, productivity, and guide the implementation of fit‑for‑purpose solutions.

What You Will Bring

- Strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and processes and translate them into practical applications and operational solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and understand business contexts through workshops, individual meetings, and shared documents.
- Demonstrated experience leading business requirement gathering workshops involving senior management and business users.
- Demonstrated ability to produce requirement artefacts such as Business Requirements documentation, Functional Specifications, and data flow diagrams.




- Successful operation within a geographically dispersed team.
- Competent and proficient understanding of project management disciplines.
- Knowledge of enterprise application platforms such as ERP, CRM, and/or HRIS.
- Ability to assess, evaluate, and solve problems and exercise initiative and judgment where practices and procedures are not clearly defined.
