AI Automation Analyst (Capital Markets)

This is a rare prospect to align with a top investment bank with a focus on automation and technology-driven change whilst developing technical and commercial skillsets within Capital Markets (N.B. the role does not require direct Capital Markets experience but at least a year of AI work experience within a large listed company, tech or other).

You will apply an understanding of AI tools to drive productivity, analytical efficiency, and automation opportunities. You will partner closely with front office sales and trading to streamline workflows and reduce manual touchpoints. Contribution will also be made to ongoing process‑improvement projects across the Capital Markets business.

Responsibilities

- Analyse and map existing business processes to spot inefficiencies
- Collaborate very closely with trading and sales teams to identify automation opportunities




- Apply the right mix of commercial and open-source AI where it creates clear value
- Design and implement automation solutions to streamline workflows
- Implement and maintain trade-related automation systems
- Provide technical support for automated processes / test and troubleshoot automated solutions
- Train staff on new tools and automated features
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, high‑standards markets environment
- Delivery & problem‑solving mindset – see projects through to completion
- Collaborative and professional, with effective stakeholder management skills

Skills

- 1–3 years work experience (at least a year within an AI‑focused role)
- Relevant academic background in a STEM/Quantitative field
- Practical understanding of AI tools, and how they can be applied in a professional environment
- Proven SQL skills, with working knowledge of Python and VBA
