An exciting prospect has arisen for a Legal Counsel to join the established in‑house legal team of a highly recognised Australian organisation with a significant national presence.
Reporting to the Head of Legal, this role offers a broad mix of disputes and commercial matters within a dynamic, fast‑moving business environment. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, providing practical and commercially focused legal advice on a wide range of operational issues.
Responsibilities
- Insurance‑related claims and litigation
- Managing externally run matters
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial contracts and agreements
- Flexible working arrangements with 1–2 days WFH
- Office conveniently located close to public transport and parking available
Qualifications
- Approximately 5–9 years’ PQE
- Prior in‑house experience is essential
- Experience across litigation/disputes and commercial contracting
- Commercially minded with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Someone who enjoys variety and partnering closely with the business
