A fantastic opportunity awaits! Come and join the Emmy Monash team as a Lifestyle Assistant. Reporting to the Culture and Wellbeing Manager, this role requires a vibrant and energetic person who will work with a wider care team to oversee and facilitate high quality, fun and creative recreational lifestyle programs to our valued residents. In this role, you will deliver enriching programs tailored to individual cognitive needs.

The role is offered on a permanent part-time basis. Monday to Thursday

Responsibilities

The role requires overseeing and facilitating high quality, fun and creative recreational lifestyle programs for residents, delivering enriching programs tailored to individual cognitive needs, and working with a wider care team to support resident wellbeing.

Qualifications & Experience

- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (mandatory)




- Proven experience in Aged Care preferably within a lifestyle, recreational or social program setting
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Demonstrates cultural awareness and excels at fostering robust connections with residents.
- Working experience in a dementia setting is highly desirable
- Sound interpersonal and customer service skills
- Good computer literacy using MS Office and Outlook
- Australian working rights
- Must also provide a current National Police Check
- First Aid Certificate (highly desirable)
- Working with children check (highly desirable)
