PPG is an American Fortune 500 company and global supplier of paints, coatings, and specialty materials. We are currently looking for a Territory Manager to be based in Brisbane as part of our Refine team. The successful candidate will report to the Queensland Business Manager and will aim to enhance the profitability of the assigned territory by cultivating and nurturing recent and existing partnerships, growing key customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities to support overall growth and profitability across Brisbane and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

- Achieve monthly and yearly sales goals and financial plans.
- Oversee and supervise debtors/accounts receivable in accordance with PPG accounts policy.
- Recognise users of competitive brands and create tactics to gain entry to showcase the advantages of using Refinish and LIC Commercial Performance Coatings products.
- Assist distributor sales activities and ensure accurate recommendation and application of products while adhering to proper EH&S; procedures.
- Establish strong connections with PPG personnel and the Distribution Network.
- Enhance share of wallet, monitor, and assess growth of current customers and distributors.
- Follow pricing initiatives/policies to provide the necessary profit contribution.
- Identify opportunities and execute plans to expand in underrepresented segments and geographies.

Skills and Experience

- Sales experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong emphasis on customer service required.




- Proficiency in technical knowledge of refinish & industrial paint products and application techniques desirable.
- Prior experience with competitor products can be advantageous.
- Trade qualification in spray painting or the refinish industry desirable; negotiation and presentation skills important.
