Qualifications and experience
- Minimum experience as a technician for 3-5 years.
- We are looking for a person who can multi-task and fix a wide range of devices for our customers.
- No front sales is required as this role is dedicated to troubleshoot and repair phones, tablets & possibly other daily use gadgets.
- Current experience in repairing devices is required for this role.
- Micro soldering ability is not required, however an interest in learning these techniques would be highly desirable.
Requirements
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Using our computerised Jobticketing system to review repairs requested by customers.
- Speaking with staff to clarify repair details if needed.
- Troubleshooting & repairing a wide range of mobile phones, tablets, laptops and other devices.
- This may include replacing screens, charger ports, speakers, batteries, cameras & all small parts.
- Estimating and quoting non-standard repairs.
- Identifying special parts required to complete repairs (may involve speaking to parts suppliers).
- Testing functionality of repaired devices.
- Recording notes on job-sheets regarding repair, including noting parts used and operation of device testing after repair.
- Monitoring & maintaining spare parts inventory.
- Employer Sponsored Visa.
- Permanent Residency (PR) pathway after 3 years of employment.
