Senior Medical Officer – General Practice – Temporary
Start date: 14/04/2026 – End date: 19/07/2026
- Shift pattern: 1500‑2300 for 14/04, 18/04, 23/04; Mixed shifts (0800‑1800 and 1500‑2300) on subsequent dates.
- Work required in the Emergency Department and inpatient wards, with occasional on‑call 2300‑0800 for CAT‑1 presentations.
- Emergency experience essential.
Compensation: $2600‑$2900 per shift.
- Accommodation provided; if undesirable, locum reimbursement up to $200 per day.
- Compact hire car provided; alternatively reimbursement up to $50 per day for car hire.
- Fuel reimbursement at 0.85c per km; flight reimbursement if pre‑approved.
Location: Excellent Southern Highway, 277 km southeast of Perth, in a town of approximately 3,687 residents.
Requirements: Must be registered with AHPRA and have the right to work in Australia.
