Base pay range

A$150,000.00/yr - A$180,000.00/yr

What You’ll Be Doing

- Play a key role in a tight-knit engineering team (19), building systems for scale, speed, and resilience.
- Building backend functionality and features with GoLang
- Review systems for consistency, error handling, and engineering patterns that set the standard, not follow it.
- Collaborate with product and design while maintaining high autonomy
- Tech stack includes AWS Lambda, ECS (Fargate), API Gateway, Golang, Node.js, Python, and Terraform.

What You Bring

- A backend or infrastructure-first mindset - you know how code works and how to optimise it in production.
- Detail-oriented and methodical; you spot gaps, remove inefficiencies, and clean up messes.




- Deep knowledge of backend architecture and cloud infrastructure.
- An independent thinker who thrives outside the herd - proactive and comfortable owning outcomes.
- Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and enterprise patterns.
- You’ve thrived in small teams where delivery and quality go hand-in-hand - this isn't a role padded with busywork.
