About the Role
Based out of Burpengary, this is a hands-on role working across mechanical installations, maintenance, and repairs within the water and wastewater sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment
- Fault finding and breakdown response
- Working on pumps, motors, gearboxes, and mechanical systems
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Completing job reports and documentation
- Maintaining safety and compliance on all sites
- Working both independently and as part of a team
What You Bring
- Trade qualification – Mechanical Fitter (Cert III Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent)
- Proven experience in mechanical or industrial environments (water experience highly regarded)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Current Driver’s Licence
