We are seeking a reliable and motivated Yard Hand to join our team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with vehicles in a fast-paced workplace and takes pride in maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fit number plates to vehicles accurately and efficiently.
- Collect and transport vehicles between dealerships
- Organise and maintain the vehicle yard, ensuring vehicles are parked safely and presented professionally.
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report any damage or issues.
- Assist with vehicle preparation and general yard duties as required.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
About You:
- Hold a current and valid driver's licence (manual licence preferred).
- Have a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Be reliable, punctual,
and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Possess good organisational and time management skills.
- Be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Previous experience in the automotive industry is advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided.
