Are you a Google Workspace expert who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and delivering an exceptional user experience? We're looking for a Google Workspace Support Engineer to take ownership of a large-scale enterprise Google Workspace environment, supporting business-critical collaboration tools used across the organisation.

Working within a collaborative Infrastructure & Operations team, you'll play a key role in administering, securing and continuously improving the Google Workspace platform while partnering with Technology, Cyber Security and business stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

- Providing Level 2 and Level 3 support for Google Workspace
- Managing policies, configurations and security settings through the Google Admin Console
- Troubleshooting complex Workspace, Gmail and email delivery issues
- Supporting migration and transformation projects
- Managing Chrome Browser, ChromeOS devices and MDM
- Working closely with Cyber Security to strengthen Workspace security and protect organisational data
- Coordinating change requests and contributing to ITIL change management processes
- Collaborating with internal technology teams and third-party vendors to resolve issues and deliver improvements
- Driving automation, monitoring and continuous platform optimisation
- Acting as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to end users and internal teams
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge articles.





What we're looking for

You'll bring strong enterprise Google Workspace administration experience along with a passion for delivering excellent customer outcomes.

Ideally you'll have:

- Experience administering Google Workspace in a medium to large enterprise setting
- Solid knowledge of Google Workspace applications including Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Slides
- Experience with Google Admin Console and administration tools such as GAM
- Knowledge of DNS, email security and email deliverability
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working within ITIL-based support environments

Highly regarded:

- Apps Script or Python scripting
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Exchange, Active Directory or other Microsoft technologies.
