As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Finance Manager / Internal Accountant to join our leadership team.

This is far more than a bookkeeping role.

We're looking for someone who enjoys understanding a business, improving systems, and helping owners make better commercial decisions. You'll work closely with our Managing Director and General Manager, becoming a trusted advisor who can turn financial data into practical business insights.

The Chance

This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of the finance function while helping shape the future direction of the business.

You'll be responsible for:

- Managing the company's financial operations using Xero.

- Preparing monthly management reports and financial analysis.

- Managing cash flow forecasting and working capital.

- Processing payroll and ensuring compliance with payroll obligations.

- Managing BAS, GST, PAYG, Superannuation and statutory reporting.





- Developing financial dashboards, KPI reporting and forecasting tools.

- Providing commercial analysis to improve profitability and business performance.

- Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and reporting.

- Working closely with the leadership team on budgeting, planning and strategic decision-making.

- Liaising with our external accountants and advisors.

About You

You'll likely have experience as a Finance Manager, Internal Accountant or Management Accountant within a small or medium-sized business.

You're commercially minded, enjoy solving problems, and can confidently explain financial information in a way that helps people make better decisions.

You'll also bring:

- Strong experience with Xero and Microsoft Excel.

- Payroll, BAS and compliance experience.

- Excellent cash flow management and forecasting skills.

- Strong analytical and commercial thinking.

- Excellent communication and organisational skills.

- High attention to detail and accuracy.

- CPA or CA qualification (or working towards) is highly regarded, but practical experience is equally valued.
