Building Industry Training – Maroochydore QLD

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Carpentry Apprentice to join our team and develop a rewarding career in the construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to learn, works well in a team setting, and is committed to completing a nationally recognised qualification in Carpentry.

As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience across a range of residential and commercial construction projects while receiving structured training and support from experienced tradespeople.

Building Industry Training (BIT) will deliver the off-the-job training component of the apprenticeship and provide ongoing support throughout your apprenticeship journey.

Key Duties

- Assist qualified carpenters with a variety of construction tasks.
- Learn and apply carpentry skills in a safe and productive manner.
- Use hand and power tools under supervision.
- Assist with measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing building materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite.




- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
- Attend and successfully complete all training requirements delivered by Building Industry Training.
- Current Construction White Card.
- Genuine interest in pursuing a career in Carpentry.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual work.
- Current driver's licence.
- Reliable vehicle and transport to travel to various worksites.
