The Practice

Our client is seeking two full time or part time GP's to join their highly regarded medical practice in Parkes.

- 7 GP practice
- Highly experienced nursing team
- Allied and Pathology services on site
- Accredited training practice
- Optional GP Obstetrics (Advanced DRANZCOG required) and/or GP Anaesthetics (JCCA required)

The Location

- DPA/MMM4 location eligible for PFP, RACGP FSP Standard Stream, RACGP PEP Specialist Stream, Remote Vocational Training Scheme RVTS, ACRRM Independent Pathway & ACRRM Specialist Pathway
- Charming country town in the heart of NSW (pop. circa 12,000)
- Parkes Airport flies daily to Sydney (45 mins)

With the presence of the nearby Parkes Observatory,



Parkes has had an important role in the scientific community. In addition to local research conducted at the radio telescope, Parkes scientists have assisted NASA for several missions as a Southern Hemisphere relay and communications station. (The movie The Dish was based somewhat loosely on the role the telescope played during the 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing.)
