About your new role

As an Advanced Educator, you will:

- Support the Coordinator in the day-to-day leadership and operation of the service
- Act as a senior team member and Responsible Person when required
- Mentor, coach and support educators to deliver high-quality programs and experiences
- Lead by example and promote best practice in children's learning, wellbeing and engagement
- Design, implement and evaluate engaging and inclusive programs for school-aged children
- Support compliance with legislative requirements, child safeguarding standards and organisational policies
- Contribute to Quality Improvement Plans and continuous improvement initiatives
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools and the broader community
- Assist with service administration, documentation and operational responsibilities as required

About you





You are a passionate and experienced children's services professional who enjoys leading from the front and supporting others to succeed.

You will bring:

- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for children and families
- Proven ability to mentor and influence educators through positive leadership
- Strong knowledge of child development and school-age learning environments
- Excellent communication, organisational and relationship-building skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- A commitment to child safety and creating inclusive environments where every child belongs

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- An ACECQA-approved Diploma qualification or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care, School Age Education and Care, Education, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience working in OSHC, Early Childhood Education and Care, or a similar children's services setting
- Experience supporting, mentoring or leading teams of educators
- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and child safeguarding requirements
- Experience developing and delivering engaging programs for school-aged children
- Current HLTAID012 Provide an Emergency Response in an Education and Care Setting
- Current CPR certification
- Current Working with Children Check
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
