Reservations Supervisor — Lake House Daylesford

Lake House, a proud member of Luxury Lodges of Australia, is seeking a Reservations Supervisor with the high-level attention to detail our guests expect. About us

Lake House is a 33-room boutique hotel and spa set in six acres of waterfront gardens, home to a Two Chef Hat restaurant and a cellar recognised in the Wine List of the Year Hall of Fame. Ten minutes away sits our sister property, Dairy Flat Lodge & Farm — six suites on a 40-acre regenerative farm. Family-owned and run since 1984, we've collected more than 100 hospitality and tourism awards — but what we're proudest of is that nearly a third of our guests keep coming back.

You'll supervise reservations across both properties, own the guest relationship from first enquiry to farewell, and learn the craft of luxury hospitality from a family-run business with four decades behind it.

What you'll do

Alongside core front office and guest service duties, you'll:

- Supervise all reservations across Lake House and Dairy Flat Lodge & Farm

- Supervise rates and packages, including configuration in Opera Cloud and across distribution channels





- Supervise guest communication — seeking every opportunity to exceed expectations through recognition, elevated service and suggestive selling

- Host property famils and tours as needed, with the goal of securing new reservations

- Supervise and administer guest data and databases that power our sales and marketing

- Oversee pre- and post-stay communication

- Greet, check in and check out guests with warmth and easy efficiency when on the floor

- Uphold the detail and service Lake House is known for

What you'll bring
- Solid experience in reservations, front office or hospitality, ideally with some supervisory exposure

- Confident command of hotel booking systems — Opera Cloud experience highly regarded

- A strong grasp of rates, packages and channel distribution

- Warm, articulate communication and the ability to connect with anyone

- Calm problem-solving, sharp attention to detail and a genuine flair for looking after guests who expect the very best

- Qualified presentation and the ability to stay composed under pressure while leading a team
