About the Role

With continued business growth, they are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their collaborative finance team based in Sunshine West.
Reporting into the Management Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives on improving processes while maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and ensure supplier invoices are processed accurately and within agreed payment terms.
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate any discrepancies.
- Perform bank, credit card and general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity across accounting systems.
- Prepare payment runs and monitor cash flow activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes.
- Assist with ad hoc finance administration and projects as required.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely financial reporting and compliance.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in a Bookkeeper or Accounts role.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, reconciliations and general bookkeeping principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Experience with Xero is essential.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
