The business

ALPHA Tyres started in 2019 out of a single ute. We're now doing $400k+ a month and climbing, out of a prestige Echuca site:

- 5 x two-post hoists

- 4-post hoist and wheel aligner

- 3 x in office mobile service vehicles

- Retail, mobile, mechanical, auto-electrical, 4x4 accessories, agricultural and truck work

We're not a franchise. Decisions get made here, not at a head office in Melbourne.

The role

You run the ship. Every day, all of it.

- The face of the business — you're the person customers ask for

- Front counter: calls, quoting tyres, assisting with mechanical quoting

- Managing a team of 10

- Workshop flow, WIP, scheduling, capacity

- Day-to-day operations, standards, and culture on the floor

The directors are stepping back. That's the actual job — we want a store that runs properly when we're not in it.

You won't be doing P&L;, accounts payable or receivable. You'll be steering the physical business, and you'll have real authority to do it:



a spend limit that's yours, hiring input, and discount authority within a clear framework.

You

- Trade qualified (mechanical) preferred — tyre industry with strong experience also considered

- Management experience is non-negotiable. You've run a team before, and you can prove it

- You can look at a mechanical quote and know when it's wrong

- You want the phone to be your problem, not someone else's

The money, in detail

Base salary $150,000 Superannuation on top Toyota Hilux Fully maintained, on top Fuel card On top Bonuses Up to $50,000, paid quarterly, on gross profit and labour efficiency

Bonuses are paid every quarter, not dangled at year end. Targets are set just above where the business trades today — the first payment is designed to land in your first quarter, not year three.

Why us

You're probably on $110k–$140k somewhere stable, and that's the top of the ladder where you are. This is 50% above that, with a genuine path — we're acquiring, and the person who runs this store properly is the person we build the next ones around.
