2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice - Solar & Battery Work

CTS Group is seeking a reliable and motivated second, third or fourth-year electrical apprentice to join our growing team.

Your primary role will be residential solar and battery installations on existing homes throughout Melbourne. With occasional opportunities to assist with residential and commercial new builds, shop fit-outs, maintenance and general electrical projects.

Responsibilities

- Installing residential solar PV and battery systems
- Setting out and installing brackets, rails and panels
- Working across tile and tin roofs
- Running AC, DC and communications cabling
- Mounting inverters, batteries and associated equipment
- Assisting with switchboard alterations and backup circuits
- Labelling, testing and commissioning support
- Maintaining clean, safe and organised worksites
- Occasionally assisting with new builds, commercial projects and shop fit-outs

Requirements

- Second, Third or fourth-year electrical apprentice, including those looking to recommence or transfer
- Previous residential solar installation experience is a must have
- Confident installing rails and panels on tile and tin roofs
- Construction White Card




- Working Safely at Heights qualification
- Current driver's licence
- Reliable personal transport is a must have
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently within a fast-moving team
- Reliable, punctual and physically capable of rooftop work

Battery installation experience is highly regarded but not essential.
