About the Employer

The Health Worker Advanced position is part of the ATSIHP General Health Unit (GHU) in partnership with the Senior health Worker and Clinical Nurse. The team aim to provide First Nations people with cultural safety by promoting and advocating for culturally respectful health care practices.

The role works collaboratively and is supervised by the Senior Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker in the delivery and evaluation of effective urban-based primary health care initiatives, aimed at improving the health outcomes of First Nations people.

About the Candidate

- Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.

Competitive salary and benefits:

- Permanent full-time
- Salary range: $77,717 to $106,875 p.a. (HWF3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
