About the role
We are seeking a Monitoring Design and Reporting Specialist to support the design, analysis and reporting of environmental monitoring programs, with a strong focus on water quality and environmental outcomes.
In this role, you will design scientific investigations, analyse environmental data, identify trends, and prepare high quality technical and regulatory reports for a range of stakeholders. You will provide evidence based insights that support environmental decision making, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across environmental programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering environmental and water quality monitoring programs.
- Analysing, validating and interpreting complex environmental data sets.
- Preparing reports, presentations and briefing materials for regulators, clients and management.
- Investigating environmental trends and providing recommendations to improve performance.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose outcomes.
- Contributing to innovation, best practice and process improvement initiatives.
- Lead stakeholder workshops, review sessions, and presentations to drive engagement and alignment.
About You
This role is suited to an experienced environmental professional with qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Science, or a related discipline. You are a proactive and team-oriented team member with experience in environmental monitoring, data analysis, and technical reporting, and a strong focus on delivering evidence based environmental outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Science or a related discipline.
- Experience in environmental monitoring, experimental design and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, statistical and report writing skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information to both specialist and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated project management and stakeholder engagement experience.
- Solid communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
