The School invites applications from IGS teaching staff for the role of full time Registrar on a 12 month secondment, commencing in Term 4 2026.

The Registrar is a key leadership position within the School and serves as the face of IGS for prospective families. The role is responsible for leading and managing the admissions and enrolment process, ensuring an exceptional experience for families from initial enquiry through to student commencement. The Registrar works strategically to support enrolment growth, strengthen community engagement, oversee admissions events and communications, manage onboarding processes, and lead the School's scholarship program. The position also provides leadership to the Admissions Team and contributes to the achievement of the School's strategic goals. The Registrar is accountable to the Principal and reports directly to the Director of Business.

This secondment presents an exciting professional development opportunity for a staff member who is passionate about relationship building, community engagement, customer service excellence and strategic planning.



The successful applicant will demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strong organisational ability, and the capacity to lead and influence others. They will also possess a high level of discernment, maturity, and sound judgement when working with prospective families, students, colleagues, and confidential information. Confidence and aptitude in working with data, technology platforms, and administrative systems, together with a strong understanding of educational environments and a commitment to the values and ethos of IGS, will be highly regarded.

As this is a secondment chance, the successful applicant will retain their substantive position. Their substantive role will be filled for a maximum period of 12 months, after which they may return to their substantive role at the conclusion of the secondment, or continue in the Registrar role.

Remuneration will be determined having regard to the successful applicant's experience, qualifications, and demonstrated capability in relation to the responsibilities of the role.
