We are seeking a motivated and technically minded Sales Technician to join our Brisbane-based metal fabrication business.
This opportunity is suited to either:
- An experienced Sales Technician within manufacturing or fabrication, or
- A trade-qualified Sheet Metal Worker or Boilermaker/Fabricator looking to transition into a long-term technical sales career.
If you understand fabrication, can communicate well with customers, and enjoy problem-solving, we’d like to hear from you.
About the Role
- Assisting customers with fabrication and manufacturing solutions
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical requirements
- Preparing quotations and managing customer enquiries
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Coordinating with production, and workshop teams
- Supporting business growth through strong customer service and technical knowledge
About You
We welcome applicants who are either:
- Experienced in technical sales within manufacturing or fabrication industries
- OR
- Trade qualified in Sheet Metal or Boilermaking/Fabrication and looking to move into a customer-focused role
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Strong understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Positive communication and relationship-building skills
- Professional and reliable attitude
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
