Trainee Coordinator - First Nations Opportunity

Cushman & Wakefield Australia, in partnership with MEGT, is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated First Nations candidate to join the business as a Trainee Coordinator within the Integrated Facilities Management team.
This role provides valuable hands-on experience across a range of business functions while supporting a major property and development contract team located in the Sydney CBD. You will gain exposure to facilities management, property services, administration, finance, procurement, sustainability, and client support within a global organisation.
Based in Sydney CBD
This is an identified role for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. About the Opportunity
As a Trainee Coordinator, you will undertake rotations across different service lines within the Property & Development NSW contract team. You will learn about and support a broad range of property and facilities management functions while working alongside experienced professionals and mentors.
This role offers valuable exposure to:
- Facilities management
- Lease and property management
- Finance and invoice processing
- Procurement and contractor coordination
- Health & safety
- Sustainability and environmental programs
- Client service and reporting
You will be supported throughout your traineeship by a dedicated supervisor/mentor and wider team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data and information collection, validation, and reporting
- Support administrative and coordination tasks across the team
- Upload and maintain information within internal reporting systems
- Assist with report preparation and communication activities
- Participate in meetings, forums, and team discussions
- Support the delivery of services to clients and stakeholders
- Contribute ideas and suggestions for process improvements
- Build solid working relationships with internal teams and external service providers
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- An Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
- Interested in developing a career within property, facilities management, administration, or corporate services
- Organised, proactive, and eager to learn
- A strong communicator with good interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Able to work collaboratively within a team environment
Advantageous
- A keen interest in the built environment and property industry
- Exposure to property, facilities, administration, customer service, or related environments
- Volunteering, community involvement, or previous work experience
- Intention to commence or continue tertiary studies relevant to property, business, facilities management, or similar disciplines
