About the Role
Depending on your experience, you'll be involved in:
- Conducting hydrographic surveys using multibeam and single beam systems.
- Survey planning, mobilisation and offshore survey execution.
- Operating GNSS positioning and navigation equipment.
- Processing and validating hydrographic data using HYPACK and related software.
- Producing bathymetric models, survey charts and project deliverables.
- Maintaining high QA/QC standards across survey activities.
- Assisting with survey equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Collaborating with project teams to deliver successful marine construction outcomes.
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members as your experience grows.
About You
We're interested in speaking with surveyors from a range of experience levels.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Hydrographic Survey qualifications (CPHS1or2/IHO certification highly regarded although not essential)
- Experience in hydrographic surveying or a strong desire to build a career in the industry.
- Exposure to multibeam, single beam or GNSS survey equipment.
- Experience using HYPACK or similar hydrographic processing software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- A commitment to safety and quality.
- A current driver's licence.
- Willingness to travel and work on project sites throughout Australia and the Pacific.
